Dr. Y. Bouzembrak
AI scientist, who works on building machine learning models to make and keep food safe. He has experience in modelling early warning and prediction systems using machine learning. He has been involved in several EU projects on the use of AI in food sector (SPICED, FOODINTEGRITY, NANODEFINE, The FSM and HOliFOOD, ECO-REDY, and EFRA) and EFSA projects (Aquarius and DEMETER). His expertise is needed for the development of a monitoring system and to improve the information on novel food safety for consumers.
Dr. Erkan Basar
AI scientist specializing in language technologies, with both practical and academic experience in natural language processing, text mining, and machine learning-based information processing pipelines. He holds a PhD in AI for developing health-related chatbots, an MSc in AI, and a BSc. in Computer Engineering. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher, focused on building an AIādriven monitoring and early warning system for detecting adverse reactions to novel foods.
