Precautionary allergy labelling and food allergy
Alie de Boer and Thuy-My Le gave a presentation on Precautionary allergy labelling, (the new Dutch regulation) and food allergy at the Autumn event Food Allergy on 8 October 2024 organised by the lecturer’s platform Food, Nutrition and Health Lectorenplatform VVG | Voedsel, Voeding en Gezondheid together with the Food Innovation Community Amsterdam (FICA). Various developments were discussed here, such as the influence of more plant-based diets, new insights into allergies in children and how the business community can respond to this. Perspectives from practice, research, companies and legislation were discussed.
