Participants wanted for a study on food allergies and the reporting of allergic reactions
How do people with food allergies deal with allergen information on food labels? And what do they do when they experience an allergic reaction after eating a food product? To answer these questions, we are recruiting participants for a questionnaire on the reporting of adverse reactions and on trust in food allergen labelling.
Through channels including patient organisations and allergy clinics, we invite people to share their experiences and perspectives. The questionnaire focuses on their experiences of allergic reactions, the choices they make when purchasing food, their confidence in allergen information and their willingness to report reactions. The experiences of people with food allergies are important for gaining a better understanding of how a system for monitoring and reporting adverse reactions to food can be organised.
