Department Life course, Lifestyle and Health (RIVM), and Professor of Healthy Vascular Ageing in Public Health Perspective (UMCU). Principal investigator of the Doetinchem Cohort Study, and the EPIC-Bilthoven study (together with UMCU forming EPIC-NL). Nutritional epidemiologist by training, her research focusses on modifiable risk factors over the life course in relation to healthy ageing, using population-based cohort studies.  She will contribute in kind to the project by enabling access to population-based cohort studies. She will bring the following expertise: epidemiology, public health, lifestyle, healthy ageing and food consumption data.
