Food Safety Scientific Affairs Leader, registered toxicologist, 25 + years’ experience in Human risk assessment and regulatory toxicology, working for a governmental organization and industry at EU and global level. From 1994-2002: Dutch Board for the Authorization of Pesticides & Biocides, advising the board on consumer and worker safety. From 2002-2018 at Danone responsible for food ingredient safety including food additives and nutritional ingredients (novel foods, allergens) in the general population as well as vulnerable target populations. 

Since 2018 coordinating Danone External engagement with different stakeholders on food safety science, providing input & coordinating input from Danone experts. Has been involved in ILSI Europe and partnership with FAO on Food Allergens. She will contribute to the translation towards application in food safety risk assessment, provides insights about food trends as well as PMM requirements. Her participation allows for aligning the identified allergy development insights into improved food allergy management and food innovation practices as well as consumer information requirements. Danone also can provide insights and access to Food Drink Europe and ILSI Europe.
